During my random jaunts around the 'Net, I came across one writer's suggestion for a plot formula: 3 disasters and an ending. So I thought, why not? Can I come up with that? And all of a sudden, things fell into place and voila, events took form.
And as usual, my Dad interupted, to see if I would come help him with his curtains. I did, but had the presence of mind to actually scrawl something quick down before I left. When I came home, I was transferring the scrap scribble to my hodgepodge ideas notebook and ended up writing an entire page of good story progression ideas. I am very pleased.
It's been a good writing day.

Three disasters and an ending huh? Hmmm, it would be interesting to consider this when reading to see if other authors employ it.
